Description

Try using the auger to test your soil if you are concerned that there are rocks or other obstructions in the area you plan to build on.

The Titan Deck Foot Anchor is a user-friendly system but is not infallible. Rocks, roots, or a weak impact wrench (we recommend a corded 350 ft-lbs DeWalt) may prevent you from driving the auger fully into the soil.  Use only a 6 point socket as a 12 point socket may strip the driver’s head.

So if you want to test your soil first, this is an inexpensive way to do so
