Professional Installation Workflow
- Preparation: Ensure the top surface of the wooden joists or ledger boards is clean, dry, and free of heavy debris.
- Application: Center the tape over the joist. Unroll and press firmly onto the flat surface, allowing it to overhang or wrap slightly down the sides of the joist to shed water.
- No Tools Needed: Tear the tape by hand at the end of the run. Use a hand roller or firm pressure to ensure maximum adhesion and eliminate air pockets.
- Fastening: Drive deck screws directly through the tape. The acrylic adhesive self-seals around fasteners, preventing water from seeping into the screw holes.
