Professional Installation Workflow

• Step 1: Pre-drilling (Mandatory)
  For Deckorators Mineral-Based Composite (MBC), always use the Smart-Bit® for Pro Plug®. This tool creates the perfect pilot hole and a clean counterbore depth. Pre-drilling is essential to prevent "mushrooming" and ensure the board does not crack.
• Step 2: Driving the Fastener
  Use a standard power drill with the included T20 bit (strictly avoid impact drivers). Drive the screw until the Auto-Stop™ mechanism engages. You will hear a distinct “pop” sound, confirming the screw is set at the precise depth.
• Step 3: Plugging
  Insert the color-matched plug. Align the grain pattern with the decking board and tap gently with a smooth-faced hammer until flush.
