This tool is essential for achieving a flawless, hidden fastener finish, as it automatically drives screws to the exact depth required for the plug to sit perfectly flush with the board surface.

• Auto-Stop™ Mechanism: Features a free-spinning stop collar that stops the screw at the perfect depth every time. Once reached, the internal mechanism disengages, preventing over-driving and stripping.
• No-Mar Free-Spinning Collar: The collar spins independently of the drill bit, preventing scuffs, marring, or burn marks on the delicate surface of PVC and composite boards.
• Dual-Bit Versatility: The tool is compatible with both Deck and Trim bits, allowing for a seamless transition between standard decking boards and thinner fascia or trim boards.
• Professional Durability: Built for heavy-duty use. Compatible with standard power drills (strictly avoid impact drivers to protect the mechanism).

Professional Installation Workflow

1. Step 1: Pre-drilling: Create the pilot hole and plug cavity using the Smart-Bit® for Pro Plug® (sold separately).
2. Step 2: Bit Selection: Use the Deck Bit for standard deck boards or switch to the Trim Bit for fascia and trim projects.
3. Step 3: Driving the Fastener: Use the Pro Plug® Tool to drive the screw. The tool will stop automatically at the correct depth. Use a standard drill at high speed.
4. Step 4: Plugging: Insert the color-matched plug. For a seamless look, align the grain of the plug with the board's texture and tap gently with a plastic mallet until flush.
