The TREX Signature 2.5″ Post is a key component of the Trex Signature aluminum railing system. These strong, weather-protected aluminum posts are designed for surface-mounted installation and include a matching post cap and skirt for a clean, finished look.

Post Options

You can choose from three post styles, depending on your railing layout.
Each one includes pre-welded mounting brackets to match its specific use:

• Line Post – For continuous, straight railing runs

• End Post – For ending a section cleanly

• Corner Post – For 90° turns and transitions

For example, the Line Post includes two opposing brackets, while the Corner Post features perpendicular brackets to support angled sections.

Installation and Compatibility

Installation is simple and efficient. These posts mount directly to wood or composite surfaces using Trex-approved fasteners or mounting plates (sold separately). In addition, they are fully compatible with Trex Signature horizontal and stair rail panels, allowing for a smooth installation process.
