Refund and Returns Policy

Standard Stock Items

The Deck Store along with our suppliers, vouch for the quality of our products. For your convenience, if any standard showroom stock item(s) purchased on deckoutlet.ca doesn’t meet your expectations, it can be refunded or exchanged for another product within 3 business days of order fulfillment at any The Deck Store showroom locations. 

  • After 3 business days, a refund (if granted), will be subject to a 30% restocking fee.
  • Bring the item(s) and your order confirmation email to your local The Deck Store showroom for credit. If PayPal was used during your purchase, your PayPal account will be credited for the return amount. 
  • Item(s) must be in its original packaging, un-opened and in good re-sellable condition to be considered for a refund or exchange.
  • Item(s) that were Special Ordered for you are not eligible for refund/exchange.
  • Limited time stock, Special Order, Clearance, and As-Is item(s) are non-refundable under any circumstances. You can see whether the product is a “Special Order Item” or Non-returnable Item from the respective product page.
  • The Deck Store reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges of any item(s) that does not meet the above return conditions at our sole discretion

Reporting Damaged or Missing Building Materials

Decking, railing and other building supply products should be inspected thoroughly at the time of delivery.. Be sure to report any product defects or damages or missing items to the delivery driver before they leave.

  • Damages must be reported within 24 hours of delivery to delivery@deckstore.ca or call 647-302-8438
  • Defective items may be exchanged for a replacement of the same item or repaired. 
  • Should a replacement be temporarily unavailable, we will advise you of the delay and offer you another alternative that is available. 

Refund Eligible Building Material 

In most instances, Stock Yard to You building products such as TIVADEK or ULTRAMAX are eligible for refund within 7 business days of delivery along with your Order Confirmation / Sales Order. 

  • The customer is responsible for the return of these item(s) to our Distribution Center in Oakville. 
  • If a customer is unable to return the item(s), a pick-up can be negotiated for a fee. 
  • Upon return, our Yard Manager will inspect the item(s) and will use his discretion to determine whether a refund will be granted. 
  • A 20% non-negotiable restocking fee will apply. 
  • We will only accept returns of unused products and the packaging cannot be damaged (split/ripped/dirty). 

Order Changes

If you want to change or modify your online order, please get in touch with jennifer@decktore.ca or call us 905-294-9056 within 24 business hours of placing your order online. We will try our best to accommodate your request if your order has not yet been processed. No order revisions will be permitted once orders have been processed under any circumstances.
